This article covers the following topics:
- A Lead results when a User submits a Quote Request and indicates needing services for an upcoming event. Each service requested (venue, catering, flowers, etc) is a Lead. All local Vendors will receive an email alert that a new Lead is available for purchase. Leads are limited to 5 vendors or 10 venues.
- A chargeable click occurs when a User clicks a link or button that leads to a Featured Vendor Profile. A User does not need to be signed in to the site to click. See where Featured ads appear.
- If a User simply wants more information from a particular Vendor, they will send an instant chat message. There is no charge for chat at this time, although it’s possible that only Vendors with Featured and Basic profiles may be able to chat sometime in the future.
- Vendors with Free, Basic or Featured profiles can purchase Leads so even Vendors without Featured profiles may still want to buy Credits. Everyone will be directed to this Promote Business page during the process of adding a new vendor Listing.
- Credits do not expire. They are non-refundable.
- The same account will be used for both Clicks (if you have a Featured profile) and Leads.
- If your Available Credit falls below the minimum Click price, your profile will be converted to Basic until you purchase more Credit.
To add a Vendor Category, you will:
1. Choose a category from the drop-down. There are currently 33 Vendor Categories to choose from.
2. Choose a Profile Type (Featured, Basic or Free). Our packages are compared in the table on the page. Featured and Basic profiles are non-refundable. You can downgrade from Featured to Basic at any time, however.
3. Create your own custom region by choosing the markets you're interested in. We will display all of the markets within 100 miles of your business zip code by default. Simply uncheck any that don't interest you.
You can click the Add market link to manually add any markets you wish, even in states that don't border your business.
You can even choose the entire United States as your region. Certain categories (Beauty & Health, Catering & Beverages, Ceremony Sites, Entertainment, Guest Accommodations, Limos & Transportation, Music, Photo Booths, Photography, Restaurants & Bars, Services for Newlyweds, Venues, Videography and Wedding Officiants) require you to have a Featured profile to advertise to the entire country, but many do not (Cakes and Desserts, Decorations and Lighting, Dresses and Women’s Attire, Favors and Gifts, Flowers, Home Beautification, Invitations and Calligraphy, Jewelry, Rentals and Party Supplies, Travel, Tuxedos and Men’s Attire and Unique Services).
Please note: If you don’t see buttons at the bottom of the page, you’re still in the process of adding a category. Either complete adding the new category or click the X to the right of the category drop-down:
4. Please select a desired Credit amount from the drop-down. For Vendors with Free and Basic profiles, you can choose $0 but the minimum credit purchase for Featured profiles is $20, as this package requires you to have Available Credit.
Once you select an amount, you will see the option to auto-renew your Credits when your Available Credit falls below $5. You will receive 10% off the purchase price with autorenewal. You can select a different amount to renew than you wish to purchase up front. You can change your Click Auto-renewal status on the My Vendor Listings page at any time.
